Yazmin Carrera has been a cosmetologist for more than 30 years in Santa Barbara County. Her haircutting skills and precise technique come from the French Academy in Guadalajara, Mexico, named “Patrice,” owned by the well-known French stylist Patrice Pivot. She continued to hone her skills at Kristopher’s Beauty School in Santa Barbara, where she became licensed. Like all good professionals, she consistently polishes her skills by staying current with new trends and product knowledge through workshops, classes, and intensive courses at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, CA. Her main focus and specialty is working with a professional organic hair color line from a Danish brand called “Natulique.”

 

Yazmin loves what she does, passionately enjoys her work, and takes pride in her years of experience. She values the friendly connection with her clients and finds joy in seeing the transformation in people's image, radiance, and outlook. Hair alchemy began as a hobby, became a career, and is now a business. Formerly the owner for ten years of Salon du Mont in Montecito, she now enjoys the freedom of being an independent contractor at Hair Alchemy Studio in Santa Barbara.
